This is a simple attempt to express my gratitude and appreciation to Kurt Dys and the members of Diamond Built for the building of our beautiful new custom home. From the moment I met Kurt on our empty lot with diagrams and drawings on the bed of his truck, I knew this was the person I wanted to build our home. His team was prompt, professional, and quick on the job even though we made it difficult in making final selections on the type and style of the house we wanted. Kurt was very patient and sympathetic with us as he understood the magnitude of such a large investment. His words to us were “I want to build what YOU want.” We no doubt selected a bad time to build with the economy not in our favor and the increased cost of labor and supplies, but Kurt was always very helpful in his recommendations and counsel on how to minimize the unexpected costs. My employer hired Diamond Built to develop property for 3 adjacent buildings in New Port Richey. Building 1 was completed in March 2006, Building 2 in approximately 2007 and Building 3 in 2008. Kurt and his crew were working with 4 attorneys on this project. Not an easy task. The construction is very sound and besides a few hurdles thanks to the county, all went very well. The buildings are very sound and we have had no issues in the nearly 14 years since we move in with the exception of the normal wear and tear, such as the AC - but this is Florida and we all know that happens.
